A Day of Joy and Belonging for Young Care Leavers.
The North Kent Christmas Dinner is a heartwarming community project that brings Christmas cheer to young people leaving care.
What’s it all about?
The North Kent Christmas Dinner 2025 brings together young care leavers, aged 18–25, to create a magical celebration filled with good food, gifts, laughter, and love.
This project is part of the Gold from the Stone Foundation, inspired by writer and broadcaster Lemn Sissay MBE, whose vision of community-led Christmas Dinners for care leavers is now a national movement of kindness and connection.
We believe everyone deserves a joyful Christmas surrounded by warmth, kindness, and community. Our volunteers — affectionately known as our “Elves” — have been working tirelessly throughout the year to plan, fundraise, and deliver a truly special day.
From decorations and dinner to gifts and games, every detail is made possible by local people coming together to give back.
✨ Because everyone deserves a place at the table.
